MRA remunerable anethories can provide images that deliver high diagnostic value, helping doctors identify the source of vascular lesions, thereby having the right treatment.

1. What is MRA resonance an anethortic?

Many people may have heard of MRI resonance imaging techniques but are still unfamiliar with the term MRA remunerable an anethology. Magnetic Resonance Angiography is a special form of MRI resonance imaging that surveys the heart and blood vessels in the body.

MRA remunerable an an anem is a safe, non-invasive technique. During the scan, the patient will be inside the res resonance imaging scanner. The machine has the form of a large tube, resembling a tunnel. In many cases, to make the image of blood vessels more clear, the patient will be injected with contrast drugs from the intravenous route.

MRA scans can provide images that deliver high diagnostic value, help doctors identify the source of vascular lesions and plan appropriate treatment. In many cases, MRA resonance an aneography may provide information that other imaging techniques such as ultrasound, X-rays, CT scans cannot provide. During an MRA scan, the patient is neither affected by radiation nor biologically affected. Contrast drugs from used very rarely cause side effects.

Due to its outstanding advantages, MRA vascular resonance imaging is increasingly widely used. MRA scans are now generally in place to detect:

  • Causes of aneurysms, stenosis or blockage of the cerebral arteries.
  • Causes of aneurysm or dissection of the aortic, blood vessels carrying blood from the heart to parts of the body.
  • To find out the cause of the stroke
  • Causes of narrowing or blockage of vessels in the arms or legs, narrowing of blood vessels leading to the heart, lungs, kidneys,…

2. How does an MRA scan perform?

2.1. Before MRA remunerous vascular anethorosis

  • The patient's reception staff will guide the patient to change outfits, remove dentures, remove jewelry such as watches, rings, necklaces, earrings,… Credit cards and ATM cards will also be stored in external hospitals as these cards may be deleted upon entering the machine room.
  • Technicians will use specialized tools to check for possible foreign objects and metal equipment in the body. If there are small metallic foreign bodies located in loose tissue such as the eyes, heart, lungs, brain or next to large blood vessels, mra should not be taken, if in other locations it is possible to shoot normally.
  • Patients should notify medical staff if they are carrying devices in the body such as artificial heart valves, vascular stents, metal foreign objects such as screw braces combining bones, shrapnel, contraceptive rings, joints, artificial bone crowns,… These devices are capable of jamming resymable images, so special shooting techniques are required. Patients should also inform their doctor if they are pregnant or suspected to be pregnant. To ensure the safety of the fetus, it is not recommended to have a resymable scan of the first 3 months of pregnancy.
  • No resonance imaging in patients with electronic devices such as artificial pacemakers, defibrillators, hearing aids,… Strong fields can damage these devices.
  • Patients can eat, drink, use the drug as usual. No need to starve before shooting.
  • If a contrast injection is required, the medical staff will ask the patient about the history of drug allergies. Some side effects after using the drug contrast from such as feeling tingling, warmth in the lips, metallic taste in the mouth, headache, nausea,… These symptoms often quickly disappear. Contrast drugs from non-toxic to the body.

pregnant women the first 3 months

MRA resonance imaging should not be given to women who are pregnant for the first 3 months

2.2. During an MRA scan

  • The technician will guide the patient to lie on the shooting table in the appropriate position, to avoid blurring the image, the patient must lie still during the shoot.
  • During the scan, the patient will hear the noise made from the camera, the person may be provided with an earplug or wear headphones to reduce the noise.
  • The patient will be in the MRI room alone, however the patient is always observed and can contact the technician through the communication system.

3. Implications of MRA remunerous an anesthorosis

After the rem resonance an anethor scan is complete, the doctor will conduct an analysis of the results of the image obtained.

An anethortic results are determined as normal when:

  • Blood vessels of normal shape, size, stable blood flow, no blood clot images or large plaque accumulations were found.
  • The vascular city is normal, there are no blockages in the flow or bulging in the blood vessels.

Vascular results are abnormal when:

  • There are images of partial or complete blockage of blood vessels due to blood clots, the accumulation of fat and calcium,…
  • There is an image of an aneurysm in the vessel city
  • There are images of lesions on the vessel's body

Mra remunerable anethories are less commonly used in emergency cases because of longer scan times than other techniques. However, MRA scans are especially useful in screening patients at risk for vascular diseases, especially aneurysms, stenosis, cerebral embolitis, myocardial infarction. Many patients were saved because they were screened with MRA scans and treated promptly.
