4.1 Before tooth extraction

Have good general health as there is no or have controlled diseases related to the intervention process; take dental medications before, during and after tooth extraction if you have diseases such as high blood pressure, haemolytic blood, diabetes, cardiovascular disease,…

Detailed information about chronic diseases such as gastritis, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, mesenteroids,… and medications in use such as anti-freezing drugs, antibiotics, analgesics, drugs that can cause allergies,…

Minimize the number of bacteria in the oral cavity such as:

+ No inflammation, pain caused by infection in the mouth and tooth area intended for extraction;

+ The cavities should be filled to remove potential bacterial containers in the mouth

+ Remove the tooth decay and thoroughly treat the inflammation of the benefits before pulling out the teeth, if the teeth intend to pull out pain (especially teeth No. 8), it is recommended to treat the infection first until the pain is gone, because if there is still inflammation around the tooth will reduce the effectiveness of the anesthetic during tooth extraction.

+ Apply ice on the cheeks to reduce swelling immediately after spitting, applying on the first day after pulling teeth and apply ice only in case of too soreness, painful swelling;

+ Maintain oral hygiene after 24-48 hours of tooth extraction. Gargle with specialized bactericidal mouthwash;

+ Take medicines prescribed by a doctor;

+ Eat soft, easy-to-swallow food;

+ Do not rinse your mouth strongly, continuously or brush your teeth within 24 hours after the tooth extraction surgery to avoid breaking blood clots;

+ Touch the spitting socket with your hands or tongue as it can cause further bleeding and wound infection;

+ Have a reasonable rest regime, avoid heavy labor causing too much for the body;

+ Do not drink alcohol, beer, soft drinks with gas, smoke cigarettes within 24 hours after tooth extraction;

+ Do not use ice or cold water to directly contact the tooth extraction area;

+ Do not hydrate salt water, mouthwash and avoid spitting after tooth extraction;

+ Do not eat chewing gum, hard confectionery, hot spicy food or too cold;

+ Limit strong impact on the oral cavity.
