As with other respiratory diseases, 2019-nCoV infection can cause mild symptoms including runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. Symptoms can be more severe in some people and can lead to pneumonia or shortness of breath. More rarely, 2019-nCoV can be fatal. Older people and people with pre-20s (such as diabetes and heart disease) are more susceptible to severe symptoms of contracting the virus.
